Gym Leader Challenge - In Store Workshop and Tournament | August 15th at 12:00 pm

Challenge your skills and learn about the Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) format at Doe's Cards, followed by a friendly tournament with a very unique prize for the winner!

GLC is a unique way to play the Pokemon TCG within the Expanded Format. The game play is the same as always, and with Expanded Format you can use cards as far back as the Black and White expansion. It's how you build your deck that changes the game!

* Only Pokemon of a single energy type are allowed. Want a Blastoise Deck? The rest of your Pokemon will be water! Mew? You've got a psychic deck! 
* Only one copy of each card with the same name can be in your deck, apart from Basic Energy. So you can't have three basic, two Stage 1 and two Stage 2 pokemon of a particular line. One Ghastly. One Haunter. One Gengar! 
* That rule goes for trainers and items too! One Professor's Research. One Ultra Ball. One Iono. 
* No Pokemon with rule boxes are allowed. Sorry, that means no EX, GX, V, V-Star, V-Max, V-Union, or ex Pokemon... no Radiant Pokemon either!
* No ACE-SPEC cards 
* No Banned Cards or cards not considered legal for tournament play

Bring a deck if you have one, or join us for the first hour as we workshop through the building of a deck, To help out, Professor Roo is bringing along his collection of bulk, divided into types to help you figure out this challenging format!

Afterwards we'll be holding a friendly tournament, with a very unique prize for the winner!
