Pokemon TCG : Pokemon Go set revealed. Secret rares & Radiant cards.
We can now reveal all 22 secret rares from the Pokemon GO set! It releases in Japan on June 17th and internationally on July 1st. We translated the cards from the main set last week.
Except for the special art versions of Mewtwo V and Conkeldurr V, none of the set’s Pokemon V have the Pokemon GO logo. We’re not sure of the logic behind this. It might be because the V cards look tacky with it. Or maybe Creatures wants to uphold their “brand” and not mark their signature cards with the logo of another game. Or maybe they excluded it so that if they reprint those V in a future set (such as in VSTAR Universe), the reprints won’t stand out by having the GO logo. Who knows?
Here’s how the textures look on some of the secret rares:
Personal opinion from Doe's Cards : We believe this set Pokemon go set will be an amazing set. There are top fan favourite cards amonst this set that will drive the Pokemon commnuity crazy. Tons of mewtwo v's and mewtwo vstars gold and rainbow rare which i think is amazing. Another favourrite card i am excited about is Dragonite Vstar rainbow rare ( secret rare ). Although the set is pretty small as it is a speciality set im sure alot of people will be inclined to purchasing this product.
Lets not mention some of the actual chase cards! The radiant charizard , radiant blastoise , & last but not least the radiant Venusaur. These New radiant shiny cards are absoulty stunning. Alot of people are asking " how expensive will these cards be ?"
my answer to this is based on pasted releases. We believe that these radiant cards should not be to hard to pull as they are not secret rares. We still do not have enough data to say what the pull rates are for the 3 radiant cards but it still shouldn't take too long of ripping product to obtain the big 3. Giving this info i believe that the radiant cards will be abit over priced in the begining and then as more and more start to surface on ebay the prices will come down dramactially. My assumption is the cards will be worth raw around the $40-100 mark which the radiant charizard should fetch the highest value amonst the 3.
